I’m New
Church for the Next Chapter.
We invite you to come this Sunday.
It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3.
We are a lake community, so dress is casual. Parking is on the south side of the building. You will be greeted warmly when you enter (through the double glass doors in the courtyard). Kids and grand kids are most welcome. We invite you to worship together. The service lasts one hour.
1
Our service is traditional and relaxed. We sing a variety of Methodist hymns and a few contemporary songs. The pastor typically preaches from the lectionary (a three-year cycle of planned readings). Holy Communion is served the first Sunday of every month. Offerings are taken weekly, but only give if you feel led to.
2
This is a wonderful place to make new friends. We will not single you out, but we look forward to meeting you. We hope you will fill out a visitor card, too. At the end of the service, the pastor likes to greet everyone personally.

More About Our Practices
We are an easy-going congregation, however Methodists are scripted in a few things which help form the foundation of our faith.
This is the sacrament of spiritual nurture.
Communion
Once a month we invite any who seek to follow Jesus to come forward to receive the elements. The server will say something like: “This is the body and blood of Christ given for you.” A common response is “Amen.” The wafer is dipped in the grape juice and handed to you to be consumed. You are welcome to pray at the rail or return to your seat.
Baptism
This is the sacrament of initiation.
It signifies the beginning of a new life in Jesus Christ. This is a wonderful and serious commitment to the Lord. Parents may take vows on behalf of their infants, and we do not re-baptize. If you are interested in learning more, please make an appointment with the pastor.
Membership
All are welcome to attend any of our services, classes and events.
If you wish to make a commitment to the church, we invite you to explore membership. Our pastor can help you prepare to take the vows, promising to strengthen the ministry of the church through your prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness.
Come, let's shout praises to God, raise the roof for the Rock who saved us! Let's march into his presence singing praises, lifting the rafters with our hymns! - Psalm 95:1-2 (MSG)
